A Modern Languages graduate from the Universities of Exeter and London and a fervent Italophile, Susan left her native Great Britain twenty-five years ago and sought asylum in France as a gastronomic refugee.

A translator and author, like many people, her life was profoundly changed by lockdown: she discovered the joys of blogging, overcame her fear of leaving her comfort zone and replaced a shoe addiction with one for jigsaw puzzles.
